Inspired by the enigmatic dark side of the moon, the U-Boat Darkmoon collection carries the legacy of the Capsoil series, incorporating its innovative oil-immersed dial technology. This timepiece boasts a vintage-inspired 44.8mm aged bronze PVD case, which houses a black painted metal dial under a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal. The dial is filled with a special oil and a visible air bubble that moves, amplifying the color and legibility, giving the appearance of a crystal-free dial. It features bronze-tone and luminescent baton hands with indices, Arabic numerals at 4 and 8 o'clock, and a signature "U" at the 12 o'clock position, all treated with bronze-colored Super-LumiNova®. The "Destro" model is equipped with a screw-down crown on the left side. A black rubber strap with a matching bronze PVD-coated steel buckle enhances the watch's vintage look. This model also includes a solid caseback with an innovative locking system and a quick battery replacement hatch, housing the Swiss Ronda caliber 712.3 quartz movement lubricated with an oil bath.
