Founded in 2003 by Jérôme de Witt, DeWitt is a relative newcomer and luxury independent watchmaker. The founder’s unique family tree reveals that he is a direct descendant of Napoléon Bonaparte and King Jérôme of Westphalia. In addition, his great grandfather was King Leopold II of Belgium. DeWitt’s small team of watchmakers are old-school artisans, using 18th and 19th century machines and extensive handwork for finishing.
