The Montblanc Writers Edition Homage to Johann Wolfgang von Goethe Ballpoint Pen celebrates one of literature's most influential polymaths with an exquisite design inspired by his life and works. Crafted with a blue precious resin and precious lacquer cap and barrel, the pen's surface pattern draws inspiration from the wallpaper in the Juno room of Goethe's Weimar residence. Polished signature gold-coated and platinum-coated fittings accent the body, while the gold-coated clip is shaped as an archetypal leaf in honor of Goethe's botanical treatise on plant morphology. Additional tributes include an engraved clover motif along the cap ring and an engraved barrel band reflecting illustrations from The Sorrows of Young Werther. Operated by a smooth twist mechanism, this limited edition of 7,000 pieces measures 5.32" in length and 16.1mm in diameter, with a total weight of 46.3g.
